South Building, Gate 412
take DeCamp Bus # 33G to W. Caldwell via Grove Street getting
off at the SUNSET stop in Montclair. Note: there are several other
# 33 bus routes. Tickets must be purchased on the ground floor
of Port Authority prior to boarding -- no cash is taken on buses
leaving NYC.
The trip takes 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.
From the Lincoln Tunnel the bus
- travels West on Rt 3 for about 10 miles
- then travels South 4 miles on Grove Street (Note: off rush
hour buses take a more winding route from Route 3 than the one
described below but eventually end up on Bloomfield Ave.)
takes a Right onto Glen Ridge briefly
takes another Right onto Bloomfield for less than a mile passing
shops and restaurants.
- passes Whole Foods and Starbucks on the right, after which
you will see houses and go up a slight incline (At this time
you should tell the driver you are getting off at SUNSET)
quickly passes
- North Mountain Ave
- Upper Mountain Ave and
- Prospect
- before arriving at Sunset
As you get off the bus, you’ll be on a divider facing a
red brick apartment building.
- Walk across the street and turn left to walk up the hill about
30 feet.
- There is a set of concrete stairs going up to the Rockcliffe’s
red brick garage.
- Walk around the garage and go to the center / front of the
main building.
- If you are concerned about walking up the steps alone, call
the front desk to ask the guard to observe you on the security
